Education Resource Specialist - RN, Abdominal (Kidney) Transplant (TMC) 

Are you passionate about advancing education and excellence in abdominal transplantation? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Education Resource Specialist to join our Abdominal Transplant Unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver educational programs for all aspects of the abdominal transplant program, including outpatient, transplant ICU, and acute care settings.
• Support clinical staff and transplant coordinators through advanced training, orientation, and continuing education.
• Ensure compliance with UNOS and CMS guidelines, integrating best practices into educational materials.
• Work closely with outpatient transplant teams and provide support for transplant ICU operations.
• Report to leadership and participate in a structured, multi-day training program.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• Active RN Texas License or Multi-State Compact RN License (No stipulations or disciplinary actions).
• Master’s Degree (Education preferred).
• 5+ years of acute care nursing experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a Kidney Transplant Coordinator (must have kidney transplant experience, not negotiable).
• 1+ year of supervisory experience in a clinical or educational setting.
• A proven track record of stable work history (no job hopping without explanation).

Nice-To-Haves:

• Experience with Epic EMR, UNOS, and CMS guidelines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Certification as a Transplant Coordinator is a plus.
