Job Description

An Emergency Medicine Physician, also known as an ER doctor, specializes in providing immediate medical care to patients experiencing acute illnesses or injuries, requiring rapid assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment decisions in a high-pressure environment, often working in a hospital emergency department, where they prioritize patient care by quickly evaluating conditions, performing necessary procedures, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Emergency Medicine Physician 

– 30 Minutes to Punta Gorda

Join a hospital in Southwest Florida about 30 Minutes to Punta Gorda, as an Emergency Medicine Physician. Provide high-quality care in a collaborative environment while earning competitive pay of $210/hr as a 1099 contractor.

Compensation Highlights:
• $210/hour for MD/DO contractors
• Malpractice insurance provided

Duties and Requirements:
• Deliver emergency care in a 15-bed facility with 15,000 annual patient visits.
• Manage 12-hour MD/DO shifts (7a–7p, 7p–7a).
• Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.
• Education: MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with ED experience.

• Licenses: Eligible for a Florida Medical License.
