Job Description

A pediatrician is a medical doctor who specializes in the health of children from birth to young adulthood. They perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, prescribe medication, and provide guidance to parents.

Pediatrician  Near Tahoe and Sacramento - 4 Day week

Join a well-established pediatric team and practice continuity of care in a community-based hospital. This full-time position offers competitive pay, work-life balance, and strong provider support.

Position Highlights:

• Compensation: $215K plus productivity bonus
• Schedule: 4 day week
• Work Setting: On-Site, Outpatient & Newborn Rounding
• Call: 1:5 with responsibility for high-risk deliveries

Responsibilities:

• Work in an established Rural Health Clinic with a busy patient panel.
• Maintain hospital exposure by rounding on newborns.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and nurse midwives.
• Provide continuity of care for a large insured patient population.

Requirements:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician
• Eligible for California Medical License
• Strong commitment to working in a community-based hospital
