Job Description
A Commercial Real Estate Attorney provides legal advice and representation to clients involved in commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating contracts, handling zoning and land use issues, and representing clients in legal proceedings.
Commercial Real Estate Attorney
Pay Rate: $250 000-350 000
We are looking for a candidate with excellent academic credentials and experience in a large regional, national, or international law firm is preferred. The firm possesses a collegial atmosphere and provides its professionals with opportunities for accelerated professional growth and advancement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent clients in commercial landlord-tenant disputes.
- Handle all aspects of commercial foreclosure litigation.
- Manage other real estate litigation matters.
- Engage in motion practice, discovery (including e-discovery), and courtroom proceedings.
- Prepare and serve predicate notices and court pleadings.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions.
- Adhere to proper NY citation formatting.
- Work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 to 3 years of commercial litigation experience.
- Commercial landlord-tenant litigation experience.
Experience or willingness to learn commercial foreclosure litigation practice. - Strong research and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Self-motivated and organized.
