Job Description

A Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) is a healthcare professional trained to manage comprehensive orthotic and/or prosthetic patient care, including assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up, and is certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC).

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at any of the Indianapolis, IN Metro locations (relocation packages available).

Job Description

• Provide custom prosthetic and orthotic treatment, ensuring high-quality patient care
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Perform gait analysis and adjust devices for optimal functionality
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with industry standards
• Travel within an hour between clinic locations (mileage reimbursement provided)

Qualifications

• Certification as a Certified Prosthetist (CP) or Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO)
• Experience in prosthetics and/or orthotics, with a strong understanding of patient care
• Proficiency in gait analysis and device adjustments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
