Job Description
An Echo Technologist, also known as an Echocardiographer or Cardiac Sonographer, uses ultrasound technology to create images of the heart, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. They work closely with cardiologists, performing echocardiograms, analyzing results, and ensuring patient comfort during procedures.

This position is responsible for obtaining diagnostic cardiac ultrasound images in three modes. M mode, color flow Doppler and two-dimensional mode, and will follow the imaging protocol recommended by IACEL. This position requires the individual to be registered by the ARDMS or CCI or an equivalent registry. This position will assist the physician with obtaining images during Transesophogeal Echo’s. This position shows sound knowledge and proficiency in the use of diagnostic echocardiography techniques (both fixed and mobile) to assist in the diagnosis of patient disorders. Prioritizes and organizes patient flow to ensure best utilization of time. Is given general guidance and is expected to function with initiative and sound judgment to provide quality services. Demonstrate effective safety practices. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and Medical Staff. Demonstrate competence when performing other related or licensed functions.
Qualifications
- Open on experience. As long as candidates have the RCS or RDCS, AE Certification, They would consider. RCS is through CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing Institute).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Associate Degree, or Certificate

Shift Details: Days ; Monday-Friday 5x8-hour shifts starting at 07:00.*Rotating Weekends (will be on call) "The call is rotated and there’s no specific number of call shifts per week, it’s split between the techs fairly. Call begins after the techs have left for the day. A weekend is considered Saturday and Sunday and if on call for the weekend, it would be both days rotated between the techs).

Salary Range: Min: 29.56- Mid: 36.95 (10 years of experience) – Max: 44.34 ( 20 years of experience)
On Call Pay: Awaiting details from facility
Sign On: $15k (2 year commitment)
