Restructuring Associate
- Work primarily with attorneys in the firm’s New York office, as well as, with the restructuring attorneys in other offices.
- The primary practice will be Insolvency & Restructuring, which is within the Transactions, Tax, and Private Client practice group.
- The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of restructuring experience representing debtors, ad hoc and statutory committees, secured creditors, asset purchasers, and other constituents in connection with chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings, including cross border matters.
- Deposition and trial preparation experience are also helpful. Candidates must have a track record of academic and professional excellence, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and strong research, analysis, and writing capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a track record of insightful research and analysis, and persuasive writing abilities.
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution is required. Admission to the New York Bar, active and in good standing, is also required
