Job Description

• Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing customer units
• Fabrication of parts (if needed) and recommending maintenance quotes
• Test driving unit(s) for diagnosis and to verify repair
• Loading and securing equipment
• Writing up Work Orders

Salary :  $34-$43. DOE

Qualifications

* Red Seal Journeyperson HD Mechanic license

* 3 years+ relevant experience as a heavy duty mechanic on agricultural equipment or other heavy vehicles (underground mining, heavy truck, etc.)

* Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic diagnostics

* Any fabrication / weld experience an asset

* Safety conscious approach to all work

* Solid mechanical aptitude and customer service mindset

* Efficient time management skills

* Effective customer communication skills

* Reliable attendance

* Independent and self-motivated

* Valid Class 5 Driver’s license

* Maintain work areas, equipment, tools

* Assist with sales of parts and/or service

* Ability to work extended hours if required
