Civil Engineer Project Engineer
Join our team as a Civil Engineer Project Engineer and help deliver impactful infrastructure projects across diverse sectors. In this role, you’ll support all phases of civil engineering design, project management, and on-site execution. As an essential contributor, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely completion of projects. Key Responsibilities – Civil Engineering Project Management
- Coordinate and support the management of civil infrastructure projects from concept through construction completion.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications for compliance with client requirements, regulatory standards, and best practices.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to evaluate project progress, safety, and quality assurance.
- Assist with permitting processes and documentation required for municipal, provincial, and federal approvals.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and local authorities.
- Support cost estimation, scheduling, and procurement functions for project delivery.
- Analyze survey reports, maps, and geotechnical data to inform project planning and design.
- Monitor project budgets, prepare progress reports, and assist with project close-out documentation.
- Foster a culture of health and safety compliance at all stages of project execution.
Qualifications – Civil Engineering and Project Coordination Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) is considered an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Strong working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and project management tools.
- Familiarity with local building codes, environmental regulations, and engineering standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in preparing technical documents and project reports.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Location and Work Environment Details
Position based in the Greater Toronto Area with travel to project sites as required. Combination of office and field work. Flexible start dates are available for the right candidate.
